Nathan Bedford Forrest State park is an often overlooked park. From our cabin we will have a spectacular view of the Tennessee River. The park is named after the greatest military tacticians and leaders of the American Civil War, Nathan Bedford Forrest and overlooks the site of the Civil War Battle of Johnsonville. It is also home of the Tennessee River Folklife Museum. We will hike along the beautiful Tennessee River and watch the river boats as they cruise down the river.
On Sunday we will visit a Wilderness Fox farm, walk along a stream and have a lunch.
Join us for a great trip back into history. Be a Fox….a Wilderness Fox.
A detail schedule will be sent to registrants. |
